Cycling Organizations:
Asheville Bicycle Racing Club (ABRC) – Established in 1984, ABRC is a non-profit corporation for the purpose of promoting amateur bicycle racing in Western North Carolina.
Asheville on Bikes (AoB) – Local cycling advocates, Bike Lovers and supporters of a good time on two wheels. BioWheels has supported these friends since their inception.
Blue Ridge Bicycle Club (BRBC) – promoting healthy and fun lifestyles through cycling in Western North Carolina. A great source of local ride cue sheets and group rides.
Mars Hill College Cycling – Sponsored by BioWheels, racers compete in national championship events in all disciplines: road, mountain, cyclocross, track, and BMX. Along the way, they’ve collected fourteen national championship podiums, including three national titles, and the team ended 2011 as the #1 ranked division two team in the nation.
Pisgah Area SORBA – BioWheels is a founding member of the chapter. Through advocacy, education, and recreational opportunities, PA-SORBA carries out its mission to promote land access, trail preservation, and new trail development in order to enhance mountain bike touring, racing, fun, and fellowship for all mountain bicyclists.

Ashevilla Wines – a direct supporter of BioWheels Cycling Club, Ashevilla makes delicious wines with the vision of staying as local as possible throughout the entire production process.
Asheville Pizza & Brewing Co. – Our neighbors at BioWheels and all-around good people with a dedication to the community and a fun time.
Doc Chey’s – Peace, Love and Noodles! We love their food, and they love cycling.
French Broad Brewing Co. – Keeping BioWheels Cycling Team and our Customers happy since 2003 with their delicious brews. French Broad creates traditional European style beers while maintaining the unique flavor that is Asheville. We think they’re spot on!
Sustainability:
Asheville GreenWorks- the installers of the BioWheels parking lot rain gardens, Asheville GreenWorks is an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful – a volunteer-based organization working to achieve a clean and green Asheville and Buncombe County through community organizing, educating and environmental stewardship.
Home Energy Partners – the installers of Icynene Insulation in the BioWheels building, Home Energy Partners utilizes a synergistic approach to building insulation, heating, air conditioning, and energy conservation.
First Light Solar – the installers of the BioWheels solar thermal panels on our roof, First Light is an award winning solar energy design and installation company for residential and commercial clients.
Shelter Ecology – sourced all the non-toxic paints, stains and sealers used in the BioWheels building. They specialize in healthy home design and consultation.
Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy – The Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy is one of the country’s oldest and most respected land trusts. SAHC works to protect the world’s oldest mountains for the benefit of present and future generations.
